With the Galaxy S22 Unpacked event behind us, we can now focus on Galaxy S23 Ultra rumors. Here we go to the expectations
We joke, but leakers like Ice Universe are forcing us to, as they are now pontificating on a new display and design after tipping some new 200MP Galaxy S23 Ultra camera potential.
Ice Universe's sources claim that Samsung's rumored ability to produce a quad-curved display has been confirmed, and that such a panel may be used for the first time on the Galaxy S23 Ultra.
The S23 Ultra is expected to have a curved display, according to a Verizon representative, but those curves may now extend to the top and bottom panel sides as well when its arrives.
Since we've already seen phones like the Honor Magic with its tri-curved screen and the quad-curved Xiaomi concept
there's little doubt that if a company with the engineering capabilities of Samsung Display sets their minds to it, they'll be able to create a phone panel that slopes on all sides.
At this point in the rumor mill, we don't know what a quad-curved display would bring to the table other than improved aesthetics, but it could hint at a drastic Galaxy S23 redesign.
This is consistent with the expectation that the S23 series, or at least its Ultra member, will feature an under-display selfie camera and an all-screen design.
