Flipsyde app is a social discovery platform (Android and iOS) that helps people find bars, pubs, independent performance venues, artists (music and nightlife-related), etc on a map. One can follow artists and venues, find out in real-time what’s happening at these spots, book tickets, pay bills, get a list of offers, and a lot more.
Venues and artists have their own backend access to update their pages, music and events.

The Tech Details -Flipsyde
The app is not only great to look at but also very easy to use. Flipsyde app is an all-encompassing platform for music as a user doesn’t need to leave the platform for any of their music-related needs. Venues, artists, and vendors have their own backend access via the website and can edit every aspect of their profiles, events, menus, ticketing options, etc
Flipsyde plans to integrate Apple Music APIs into their app. The music player and the entire app is encrypted to prohibit content piracy. Flipsyde is an official Apple Music, Apple TV, Apple Books, and Apple News affiliate partner, and the vendors, artists can sell their products via the website and app. App plans to integrate Apple Music APIs into their app. it also received $10,000 worth of free hosting services from AWS. Push notifications can be sent to alert the users about a newly published article or upcoming concert.
The artist vertical on the app has artist profiles under which the follower can gain all the information with respect to the artist’s music and upcoming shows. Users can RSVP for events on their gig calendar and receive alerts for these events.

Flipsyde is now one of the cheapest ticket selling platforms for online and live events, charging a mere 4% all-inclusive commission on ticket sales. app has partnerships with various streaming platforms, however their latest gig was streamed by the artist on Google Meet.
The Future
The app is available on Google Play and App Store in beta mode. The app is soon going to be back in a new avatar. Since venues and nightlife are still in a fix, the Flipsyde team is reworking the app to accommodate the situation.
