Instagram Will Focus More On Reels In 2022

Moving forward to 2022, Instagram will 'double down' on video. More reels and more videos in instagram feed.

Mosseri agrees that it is the major way for individuals to interact online. As a result, Instagram intends to strengthen its private messaging capabilities in 2022.

He also mentioned that the platform will increase its focus on controls – earlier this month, Instagram revealed that it will offer parental controls in March.

In addition, Mosseri stated that Instagram will continue to invest in features that will offer users more control over the site.

Instagram recently combined the feed video and IGTV video concept called as Instagram Video. Videos posted on the feed can now be 60 minutes long.

In terms of creators, Mosseri stated that Instagram would bring additional monetization options to assist them in making a livelihood.

He went on to say that the social network app has started doing so this year with new features including concealing like counts, Hidden Words, and even parental controls.

However, it was discovered that additional such capabilities will be added to the Meta-owned social networking platform in 2022.
