Comedian James Corden apologises after Balthazar restaurant ban

Comedian James Corden was temporarily banned from a New York restaurant on Monday

James Corden publicly apologized towards the owner of Balthazar and has the restaurant's restriction lifted

Restaurant owner Keith McNally claims the late-night talk show personality was unacceptable at one of his most well-known restaurants

A settlement in the McNally-Corden Affair has been reached. Just a few hours after restaurant owner Keith McNally announced on Instagram -

that James Corden, a comedian and late-night show, will not be welcome back because of bad dining manners

A allegedly typical rude dining behaviour,  In McNally’s telling, Corden, a “Hugely gifted comedian, but a tiny Cretin of a man”

In an article from October, McNally detailed a brunch that Corden and his wife had at Balthazar. She requested a dish known as an egg yolk omelette

The biggest mystery here is what an egg yolk omelette could be, apart from why Corden goes back to Balthazar after having bad experiences here

It is rather impossible to create an egg yolk omelette without using any egg whites, and it is also highly offensive indeed - McNally

"Anyone magnanimous enough to apologise to a deadbeat layabout like me doesn't deserve to be banned from anywhere. Especially Balthazar." McNally added
