Brad Pitt's Plan B is looking for a buyer.

Plan B, the Oscar-winning production company founded by Brad Pitt, Dede Gardner, and Jeremy Kleiner, is looking for a buyer.

Moelis & Co. has been retained by the Pitt, Dede Gardner, and Jeremy Kleiner-led banner to assist with the search.

Moelis & Co. has been hired by the Moonlight and Minari shingle to find a buyer or possible investors.

Moelis & Co. did not respond to requests for comment. Representatives for Plan B could not be reached for comment.

Plan B has a long list of award nominations, including 12 Years a Slave, Selma, and The Big Short.

This year, MGM's Women Talking, Universal's She Said, Netflix's Blonde, and HBO Max's Father of the Bride are among the films produced by the firm.

Pitt and then-wife Jennifer Aniston founded Plan B in the early 2000s, with Pitt taking over the firm after the pair separated.)

Plan B's television credits include HBO's The Normal Heart and Amazon's The Underground Railroad, the latter of which reunited the firm with Moonlight director Barry Jenkins.

Plan B has a first-look TV agreement with Amazon Studios as well as a movie deal with MGM.

The announcement of Plan B's search for a prospective buyer comes at a time when top-tier Hollywood production companies are seeking large sums for outright purchases 

Following a purported selling effort, A24, which has collaborated with Plan B on various projects, announced a $225 million investment lead by Stripes.

In other news, Apollo Funds paid $760 million for a minority investment in Legendary Entertainment.
