ON BOOST MOBILE GET 5G
THE TRIAL IS NOW RUNNING BIGGER. BETTER. BOOST.
America's largest 5G networks.

When it comes to 5G,
Boost Mobile has gone from stating it's not good to now offering it to all customers on a trial basis till September of this year.
In February 2020, Founder Peter Adderton
told EFTM that 5G didn't offer anything extraordinary to customers and that he wouldn't sell it until it did.
Then, not long ago, we reported that Boost was testing 5G for some users.
Really fascinating, and in part, a look into the Boost brand.
Peter Adderton revealed to EFTM
a few weeks ago that Boost was now offering 5G for subscribers on their most expensive plan, but that he didn't recommend people pay for it.
In the EFTM Podcast, he argued that it should not be a premium offering.
Boost will begin bringing out 5G to all clients this week.
It'll be a lengthy process that could take a week or two, but if you have a 5G handset,
you'll enjoy 5G with Boost from now until towards the end of September!
"We will begin a 5G access trial for Boost subscribers on May 30."
You must have an active recharge, a 5G compatible smartphone, and live in a 5G service area to be eligible for the trial
So, why the flip?
It might be spun as a triumph for Boost because they are now able to offer 5G to all consumers regardless of price.
However, it may also be interpreted as Telstra doing anything they want with the Boost network and users,
given Boost is more of a Telstra sub-network than an MVNO like Aldi and Woolworths.
Boost is essentially a marketing company that was created to lure people to a set of low-cost offers on the Telstra network,
allowing Telstra to increase its business
