The Vivo Y53s 5G, the company’s latest budget offering with a 90Hz display and a 5,000mAh battery, went on sale for CNY 1,799 in China (around Rs 20,500).
The Vivo Y53s 5G, which is the successor to the Vivo Y52s from last year, has been released in China. A phone is a low-cost option that includes 5G connectivity and is said to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 processor. It has a dual-camera setup on the back and a notch on the front for the selfie camera. The smartphone has a thicker chin and slim side bezels. There are three colour options for the Vivo Y53s 5G, as well as two RAM and storage configurations.

The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage Vivo Y53s costs CNY 1,799 (roughly Rs. 20,500) and the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model costs CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 22,800). It comes in three different colors: iridescent, sea salt, and starry night. The phone is currently available for pre-order in China through JD.com and the company’s website, with the base model costing CNY 1,699 (roughly Rs. 19,400). The sale will begin on June 11th, and Vivo has yet to reveal information about the phone’s international availability.
