MILLIONS OF COPIES OF THE REDMI NOTE 10 SERIES HAVE BEEN SOLD BY XIAOMI.

No one can deny that Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 10 series is the most popular. Devices with the best specs/price ratio are frequently released within this family. The Redmi Note 10 series devices are expected to be bestsellers, according to the company. And it has the prerequisites to believe that everything will work out with the sales of this line.

The Redmi Note 10 family was released in China on June 1st, and after 11 days, the company reported that 1 million units had been sold. The first hour after the launch, half of them were sold out. They eagerly purchased the Redmi Note 10 Pro on the JD.com website.

In India, the Redmi Note 10 series has sold twice as many devices – 2 million. Smartphones, on the other hand, were available in March. Manu Kumar Jain, the head of Xiaomi’s Indian division, even stated that if Redmi Note were a separate brand, he could rank third or fourth among the country’s largest smartphone manufacturers.

Furthermore, the series was doing well in India alongside the Xiaomi Mi 11X / 11X Pro, but the company chose not to promote the devices there. The devices were only said to have sold for a total of 3 billion Indian rupees.

Since the launch of the Redmi Note 10 series in March, Redmi India, a sub-brand of Xiaomi India, has sold over 2 million units worth over 3,000 crores across all platforms, according to the company.

“The Note series has set some really high standards in the category since the launch of the first Redmi Note in the country, with our devices becoming the de-facto choice in the mid-premium price segment. The Redmi Note 10 series is priced from Rs. 11,999 for the basic Redmi Note 10 with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage to Rs. 21,999 for the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, which is the most expensive option. The 6GB RAM and 64GB storage model of the Redmi Note 10 Pro starts at Rs. 15,999.

According to Counterpoint Research, Xiaomi is the largest player in the Indian smartphone market, with a 26% market share in the first quarter of 2021. In the March 2021 quarter, India’s smartphone shipments increased by 23% year on year to over 38 million units.

In addition to Samsung, Vivo, Realme, and Oppo, the top five tally includes Samsung, Vivo, Realme, and Oppo.

Xiaomi India announced on Wednesday that its Mi 11X series, which includes two devices, has racked up sales of over 300 crores in just 45 days since its launch. The series debuted on April 23 and is available for purchase starting at Rs 29,999.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 678 SoC powers the Redmi Note 10, while the Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G SoC powers the Pro and Pro Max variants. All three phones have quad rear cameras, with the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max’s primary sensor measuring 108 megapixels. For the selfie cameras, they have tiny hole-punch cutouts. The Redmi Note 10’s base model has a 5,000mAh battery, while the Pro and Pro Max models have 5,020mAh batteries. Fast charging is supported by all three phones at a rate of 33 watts.
