The Realme laptop is coming, and the first look reveals a MacBook-like design.

Realme began as an OPPO sub-brand for low-cost smartphones in India, but it has since evolved into its own brand. It is no longer limited to smartphones and has branched out into a variety of other areas.

Every now and then, the company introduces new products. Now, the Chinese brand is preparing to enter a new product category with the launch of its first-ever laptop, which Madhav Sheth, CEO of Realme India and Europe, has teased.

Realme has been working hard to diversify its product line, and it appears that laptops will be the next addition. Madhav Sheth, the company’s CEO for India and Europe, shared a photo of a laptop peeking out of a thin envelope or bag, along with a binary message that when decoded says “Hello World.”

  • Realme teased a laptop, which will be available in India soon.
  • The Realme laptop resembles the Apple MacBook in appearance.
  • The Realme laptops are expected to arrive in June.

The Realme laptop is finally here. Madhav Sheth, the CEO of Realme India and Europe, teased a new product category on Twitter with a cryptic binary code, but it was accompanied by a laptop protruding slightly from a paper bag. Whatever part of the laptop is visible in the image suggests a metallic body, which is uncannily similar to the Apple MacBook. Obviously, the Realme laptop will run Microsoft Windows, but the company could easily imitate Apple’s popular laptop.

“Hello World!” reads the binary code in the tweet. This is the same phrase that is commonly used to introduce people to the world of computers, so it’s not hard to figure out what Sheth teased on Twitter. Realme’s next product category has been confirmed after a flurry of rumours, including one from tipster Mukul Sharma that suggested the launch could happen as early as June. Realme, on the other hand, has yet to announce a launch date.

Realme laptop will compete directly with Xiaomi’s Mi Notebook laptops, which were released last year. In India, Xiaomi launched three laptop models, kicking off an aggressive laptop market that Realme will soon pursue. Realme hasn’t revealed the specifications or price of its upcoming laptops, but you can expect something similar.

There isn’t a lot to say about Realme’s laptops right now. Will there be multiple models, or, unlike Xiaomi, will Realme include a webcam with its notebooks? We don’t have all of the answers yet. The processor Realme used on its laptop is unknown. Is it an AMD processor or an Intel chipset? Again, we have no idea. However, rest assured that Realme’s upcoming laptop will come pre-installed with Windows 10.

Earlier this year, reports suggested that the Realme laptop would be released in June, and the company has now released a teaser for the device. According to this, the official launch could happen in a matter of days or weeks.

Realme appears to be following Xiaomi and Redmi’s lead, which has seen them enter almost every consumer electronics category. With competitive pricing, the Realme laptop will compete against the Mi Notebook and RedmiBook once it is released.
