The Nokia C01 Plus is a new entry-level smartphone from HMD Global. This phone is essentially an upgrade over the Nokia C1 Plus, with a more powerful chipset and a better battery. The Nokia C01 Plus is ideal for people who will be using a smartphone for the first time or who do not need to do a lot with their phones. HMD’s new phone does a good job with all of the essentials. It does, however, come with some useful features. Android Go is in charge here, which is a stripped-down version of Android designed for phones with limited RAM.

The Nokia C01 Plus is currently available in Russia. HMD has not stated whether or not the Nokia C01 Plus will be released in other markets. The Nokia C01 Plus, in particular, may find a market in India, where there is still a strong demand for entry-level phones. Thanks to KaiOS, which supports apps like WhatsApp, YouTube, Facebook, Google Assistant, and more, feature phones from brands like Nokia and JioPhone are already attempting to bridge the gap between high-end feature phones and entry-level smartphones.

Price of Nokia C01 Plus

RUB 6,490 (approximately Rs 6,570) is the price of the Nokia C01 Plus. Pre-orders for the phone, which comes in blue and grey colours, are now open. There’s no word on when this phone will be available in India.

A Unisoc SC9863a chipset with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage powers the phone. You can expand your storage with a microSD card up to 128GB.

Because the Nokia C01 Plus is a budget phone, it comes with some compromises that some customers may find unappealing. Because this phone lacks a fingerprint sensor, you’ll have to rely on the traditional PIN, pattern, and password methods. The Nokia C01 Plus also has a small battery. There’s a 3000mAh battery on the bottom that charges at 5W via a MicroUSB port. There’s also a 3.5mm headphone jack here. The speaker, on the other hand, is located in the back, near the bottom. The phone has two SIM card slots that support 4G VoLTE, as well as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS. It measures 9.3mm thick, making it slightly thicker than the Nokia C1 Plus.
